Term 2 reflection

I am pleased with my reading as I still am reading and spelling at a high level and I'm starting to like reading allot more. I have enjoyed P.E. allot because it always is fun and I love things outside. I found getting noticed by people hard, even though I work really hard. (Teachers, parents and students.) I need more help in calming myself down when I'm angry as I have a short temper. I would like to do more science and physics because it is amusing, fun and they might help you with your later life. I think we should add buddy writing to our must do list for some fun and getting to know other people better. I think my personal goal for term 3 should be to control my temper.

A Sunny Lesson

Once upon a time there was a man and a boy .One day the boy wanted to see how the sun sparkled in the sky. The boy and man went into the water with the  glimmering sun shining on them, as bright as fire. The man got a match and lit it. He threw the match up into space and the sun got bigger. When the boy tried, he couldn't throw it hard and high enough. The man thought he was to small so he got a very high ladder. The boy climbed on the ladder and tried to throw it as fast as a cheetah but only threw it as fast as a snail and as far as a piece of A3 paper. The boy and man were both as sad as a monkey with no bananas. The boy thought of something, he could strike the matches, and the man could throw them! So they worked together the whole day and lived happily ever after!

Writing Reflection

My writing goal is to think of ideas more quickly. I think I've achieved it because I always have an idea in my head when I start my writing. Also my mum and dad said they are super happy with my improvement.

Maths reflection

I think I've achieved my grouping within 1000's goal because my brother Zan tests me and he's always happy with my results, I always get all them right!

I also think I've achieved my converting fractions to percentages and decimals goal because I can show correct examples: 25%=1/4=0.25 and 50%=1/2=0.5.

I also think I've achieved my memorizing factors because I can show correct examples: the factors of 12 are: 1, 2, 3, 4, 6 and 12. The factors of 40 are 1, 2, 4, 5, 8, 10, 20 and 40.

Clocktower Writing

Once there was a little girl named Olivia who was cursed; this curse made her a piece in a clocktower.

She has to spin round and round for the world to work. If she goes out of the clocktower the world stops (literally!) and she has to go back in; the world turns black and white and nothing moves. When the world is stopped she can touch something and it comes to life; it can turn back into it's normal colour and starts moving again. The curse was made by an evil witch who wanted to annoy someone random for a reason that no one knows.

One day she heard a knock on the door, Olivia rushed to the door and not to her surprise everything was frozen (including the man at the door). So she touched him and said "I need to hold your hand, otherwise you will freeze." Olivia held his hand and they walked up this stairs together.

The man's name was Jax the II and he was a prince. The prince instantly fell in love with Olivia and wanted to somehow get her out of the clocktower. So they came up with a plan to get someone else to go in the clocktower.

So Jax got one of his assistants by politely asking him (they were very loyal assistants who always said yes) and made some special clothes that had the exact grooves that fitted in the clocktower. Jax put the clothes on the assistant for him and took Olivia out and the assistant in.

Then they were all happy (apart from the assistant, but he accepted it) and they all lived as happily as a monkey with 100 bananas!
