The Day I Turned Into An Alien
Once upon a time, on planet earth, Jax, Zan Michelle and Tim were watching TV. The year was 879672.
They were watching episode 10 of the wheel of futune. It was Thursday the 12th and everyone hoped that nothing bad would happen tomorrow.
Overnight, an alien came into the house and deposited a bum plum into Jax's breakfast cereal!!!
When the family woke up, they had their breakfast and Jax started feeling funny. Sooner or later Jax tuned into an alien and Tim and Michelle threw Jax onto the road. An AIO suddenly appeared above Jax and shined a light on him.
Another alien frantically jumped into the light beam and was sucked up too. When Jax got up, he realized a good alien name would be Jraxaxdron. He said "Hello my name is Jraxaxdron and I come from the planet Braxandron"
"Us too" Said all the aliens...
"I'm going to put you on the scanner bed, I don't recognize you" said the king of aliens, King Moahdron the second.
Tick, tock, tick, tock. That was all that Jraxaxdron was thinking about. When was he going to get off that scanner bed? Eventually the king came in.
"It will take 2 hours to see the results" said the king.
Jraxaxdron was so happy. He was sitting in a room all by himself playing I-pad and X-Box and eating pizza. It was one of the best moments of his life until...
"HE WAS ONCE A HUMAN!" said the king.
"We will make him a slave and we will send a fake down to earth." said the king
"We will make his parents think he is safe and that will be funny" said the king
"And the new slave will work in my AIO" said the king. The aliens sent down a robot and Jraxaxdron was an alien slave forever!!!
The End!!

Why Jax Is Awesome
Do you ever look up to a fellow student? Do you ever look up at Jax? Well, some people do. He is a good goalkeeper, very smart and academic, and an all rounder.

He has great handling skills and great throwing skills as well. He also has pretty good kicking and Jax is supportive. Jax is good at saving penalties and he has great diving and reflexes. Jax is quick and he has good positioning.
Jax is smart and academic. He helps everyone with everything. Even if he gets stressed he keeps on going. He always tries his hardest and he never gives up. he usually gives everything his all and has good quality and quantity.
Jax is an all-rounder. He is academic, friendly, and he is a good goalkeeper. Jax makes friends easily and he makes them frequently. He is awesome at everything.
Overall, Jax is an awesome person. He is a good goalkeeper, he is smart and academic and he is an all-rounder.

The Catch
Once upon a time, there was a little boy named Maire who was fishing for his Village. He very frustrated he had only caught one little fish so he decided to give up. Maire put his very small fish in a basket and sighed.
But just then he heard some sad screeching and moaning so Maire pushed the bushes aside and saw that there was a fox who was tangled in a piece of string. Maire got out his knife and the fox thought that he was going to die!! Maire cut the string and the fox jump out of his reach and charged him, but he smelt the fish and ran off.
Maire ran to the fish but the fox picked it up in its mouth and ran away. It was a long run to catch up but Maire finally made it. The fox threw the fish into the water and then the thick fog blew away and Maire saw giant fish that he could catch. The fox got him a fishing rod and together they caught heaps of fish. Maire went back to his village with heaps of fish while the fox disappeared into the wind.

The Tri Chronicles Pt 1: A UFT. Squiggle Story 1
15.9.15
It all started out at school when our maths group (where I was totally the smartest) and we were studying the dreadful subject. (Triangles of course.) I was bragging because I was way smarter than the others (not 100% true in real life but I am very smart, NO OFFENCE HANNAH) and Miss Copper got annoyed. She decided to lock me in the cloak bay!!!!!!!! A fire started in room 31 and the fire bell went. Everyone rushed out of the classroom but no one helped me!!! The fire got into the cloak bay and the last thing I remember before fainting, was climbing on the walls. When I woke up, I didn't know where I was. I saw that I was in a wheelchair (?????????) in the "First Aid' Room (I can read signs!!!!). I thought I was in hospital. I suddenly realized that the wheelchair I was in was triangle!!! I called "Mum, Dad, Zan, where are you????" I heard footsteps coming down the corridor. When They came in... I was shocked!!! It was an alien!!! "W,W,What are you" I asked. "I am a trialien" It said. "W,W,Why am I here?" I asked. "We are in a UFT, an unidentified flying triangle. We got to a door. I coughed and fell out of the wheel chair. I rolled into a door. It opened. I was shocked...
Well if you want to know more, read the next book... To be continued...

The Red Hat
Once upon a time, in a deep, dark forest, there lived a happy boy and his pet Maufish. The happy boy's name was Jax and the Maufishes name was Jaxon. They lived in an awesome mansion that had a nice long and warm pool. One day, Jax decided to go for a stroll to get fitter. Jaxon decided to come along so he would get fitter to. They started to climb a nice looking hill. The hill was very, very steep and it took awhile to get up. When they got to the top of the hill they found a red hat and curiously, Jaxson decided to put it on.
When they got home, they decided to get some sleep and they put the red hat by the bed. But when they were happily sleeping, 10 smart and graceful Maufishes crept out of the hat and started to dance. When Jax and Jaxon woke up they noticed the awesome Maufishes and Jaxon fell in love with the new pretty Maufishes. They had a disco and were all very happy together. They became great friends and all lived happily ever after.

The Road
Once upon a time, in the land of Maufish, there was a road. When the green man flashed only one person from either side was aloud to cross. Luckily, the small town only had 100 people in it. Most of the people were nice, but only 2 were bad.
One day, when the green man appeared on the traffic lights the 2 mean people both walked across the road and when they met in the middle of the road, the both started to look and act angry. One of the mean people was named Bob, and he was smaller than the other mean person who's name was John. John tried to push Bob back but Bob stood his ground and looked even angrier than before! Then Bob tried to push John back but John stood his ground as well! Eventually, while they were still fighting, the green man stopped and John and Bob got ran over by a car.
Well, since the population grows, now there are 101 people in the small town of Maufish and they are all nice. But that's not the end of the the story! On the same day, only 1 more green man ahead of Bob and John's fail, another 2 people came to a green light on opposite sides and they both started walking but when they saw each other, one kind person went back and let the other person go. They became good friends, the person went back and was kind, got to the other side and everyone lived happily ever after.
The End.

Why We Should Do More Maths
Did you know that 6 x 9 + 6 + 9 = 69?
Well even if you didn’t, I know one thing for sure, we should do more maths. I am going to tell you why maths is fun, why it helps you with everyday things and what amazing things you can do with maths. By the end of this speech you should have learnt why we should do more maths.
Firstly, you might not think it, but maths is quite fun!! One way is to make it fun yourself. What do you like? Candy bars? You could make candy bar division by dividing the candy bars up equally for your friends! Also, did you know that if you spell out pi to the second decimal (3.14) backwards it spells out the word pie (P-I-E)? Someone probably found this out because they wanted to have fun with maths.
Second, have you ever thought about how everyone uses maths every day? You use maths in the garden, to measure how deep the hole is to plant the seedling, how much water you give a plant, and how much fertiliser you put on the plants. Isn’t that amazing!!! Well, there is more!!! At the supermarket, when you need to decide the best value product to buy, also weighing how much fruit to buy, and finding out what the total cost of the shopping is. In the kitchen, measuring how much chicken stock to put in the food!!! That is just a few, there are ALOT MORE!!!!!!
Third, lets talk about some amazing things you can do with maths.
Do you want to be like Albert Einstein?
He was a physicist who could do amazing things with maths. He was especially famous for the physics equation E=Mc2 or, Energy = The speed of light - squared.
Computers are also quite amazing!! We use them for: Games like Tanki, Minecraft and Real star soccer. Phones are little computers, and I even wrote this speech on a computer. Why am I telling you about computers? Well, they operate using a special kind of maths called computer code.
I have listed lots of amazing things that everyone can do with maths. I strongly believe that everyone can be good at maths and find it fun. I think that all of us can do more maths, teachers can teach more, students can learn more, and we can all have lots of fun.
In fact, we should do maths every day!!!! LETS DO MORE MATHS!!!!!!

The Cyberbullied Maufish
Once upon a time, in the land of Mau, there were Laappaass and Maufishes. The both lived luxurious lives but the Laappaass were fat and mean. One of the Laappaass was named Marshazie and she was the meanest of the mean. One day, two Maus named Jax and Eve were sitting on the bench at the park when they got a mean message from Marshazie saying ''You are are big fat poo." Jax and Eve were furious and told the collage Principal (Who was a Mau) and since she had done it before, she was expelled from the school. Jax and Eve were both happy and everyone lived happily ever after!!!
For the 1 Eyed Alien!!!!!!
Once upon a time there was a lonely alien. He was called weird because he had 1 eyes instead of 7. One day, he went to the alien disco and there were lots of aliens there. He was chosen to go on the stage and while he was dancing, one of the aliens who liked to tease him came up from behind him and bunny ears him and since he couldn’t see behind him, he got totally embarrassed. The 1 eyed alien went to the back of the room and the alien who had bullied him said “I dare every (real alien) alien to get naked because our parents aren’t here” and everyone apart from the 1 eyed alien said “yes”. But a couple minutes later all the parents came in and everyone apart from the “not real alien” was super embarrassed and the “real aliens” learnt a lesson. One, their parents were annoyed that they were bullying and two, not to take your clothes off at a disco and everyone lived happily ever after.

Photos of Pluto!!!!
Can you believe that the spaceship New Horizons took photos of Pluto? New Horizons passed over Pluto at 7:49 July 14 and there are some amazing facts!! One is that Plutos atmosphere is a lot bigger than earths atmosphere. In fact, Plutos atmosphere is almost as big as earth. Plutos atmosphere is bigger that pluto!!! Also, the estimated diameter of Pluto was 1430 miles, but the actual diameter is 1473 miles! At the top of the post there is a link of the mountains of Pluto.
Enjoy!!!!!
Enjoy!!!!!

Term 2 reflection
I am pleased with my reading as I still am reading and spelling at a high level and I'm starting to like reading allot more. I have enjoyed P.E. allot because it always is fun and I love things outside. I found getting noticed by people hard, even though I work really hard. (Teachers, parents and students.) I need more help in calming myself down when I'm angry as I have a short temper. I would like to do more science and physics because it is amusing, fun and they might help you with your later life. I think we should add buddy writing to our must do list for some fun and getting to know other people better. I think my personal goal for term 3 should be to control my temper.

A Sunny Lesson
Once upon a time there was a man and a boy .One day the boy wanted to see how the sun sparkled in the sky. The boy and man went into the water with the glimmering sun shining on them, as bright as fire. The man got a match and lit it. He threw the match up into space and the sun got bigger. When the boy tried, he couldn't throw it hard and high enough. The man thought he was to small so he got a very high ladder. The boy climbed on the ladder and tried to throw it as fast as a cheetah but only threw it as fast as a snail and as far as a piece of A3 paper. The boy and man were both as sad as a monkey with no bananas. The boy thought of something, he could strike the matches, and the man could throw them! So they worked together the whole day and lived happily ever after!

Writing Reflection
My writing goal is to think of ideas more quickly. I think I've achieved it because I always have an idea in my head when I start my writing. Also my mum and dad said they are super happy with my improvement.
Maths reflection
I think I've achieved my grouping within 1000's goal because my brother Zan tests me and he's always happy with my results, I always get all them right!
I also think I've achieved my converting fractions to percentages and decimals goal because I can show correct examples: 25%=1/4=0.25 and 50%=1/2=0.5.
I also think I've achieved my memorizing factors because I can show correct examples: the factors of 12 are: 1, 2, 3, 4, 6 and 12. The factors of 40 are 1, 2, 4, 5, 8, 10, 20 and 40.

Clocktower Writing
Once there was a little girl named Olivia who was cursed; this curse made her a piece in a clocktower.
She has to spin round and round for the world to work. If she goes out of the clocktower the world stops (literally!) and she has to go back in; the world turns black and white and nothing moves. When the world is stopped she can touch something and it comes to life; it can turn back into it's normal colour and starts moving again. The curse was made by an evil witch who wanted to annoy someone random for a reason that no one knows.
One day she heard a knock on the door, Olivia rushed to the door and not to her surprise everything was frozen (including the man at the door). So she touched him and said "I need to hold your hand, otherwise you will freeze." Olivia held his hand and they walked up this stairs together.
The man's name was Jax the II and he was a prince. The prince instantly fell in love with Olivia and wanted to somehow get her out of the clocktower. So they came up with a plan to get someone else to go in the clocktower.
So Jax got one of his assistants by politely asking him (they were very loyal assistants who always said yes) and made some special clothes that had the exact grooves that fitted in the clocktower. Jax put the clothes on the assistant for him and took Olivia out and the assistant in.
Then they were all happy (apart from the assistant, but he accepted it) and they all lived as happily as a monkey with 100 bananas!

My awesome holiday play date!
On Friday of the first week of the school holidays, Tony and Daniel came over and it was awesome! First at 1.45 when Daniel came over, we weren't expecting him that early and was supposed to come at 2.00. At 2.00 Tony came over and we all went outside, Zan and Daniel did gymnatics on the trampoline and went on the swings and Tony and I played soccer as striker and goalkeeper. We eventually swapped. Then we all went in the house and ate the cheesecake that Tony's Mum had gotten us and talked about cool stuff. At 4.35 Tony went home and at 6.45 Daniel went home. It was an awesome playdate!!! ''Bye bye'' Tony, ''Bye bye'' Daniel says Zan.

Rangitoto
I am so happy that I have climbed to the top of Rangitoto and got to go inside the lava caves.
First Miss Cooper told us to line up in the classroom. Then we walked to the bus and hopped on. I sat next to my good friend Thomas. We talked about soccer and race cars and saw cars, the shiny road and other awesome stuff.
Next we left the bus and got on the glamorous ferry that gleamed like a diamond. When we got on the boat and we started to move I got badly seasick, that was as bad as a big blue bee covered in bags of basket balls covered in bugs. When I went inside the boat I felt a bit better, but I still felt bad. When I got off the boat I was completely fine.
Mr Ayson talked about the history of Rangitoto and when the owner of the house on Rangitoto died the house was taken away. Some groups went to the toilet while others started of the walk. We could see rocks and trees. We started the walk without going to the toilet. My group was Eve, Izzy, Marie, Sean And Miss Cooper. We started off great but then Sean and Marie started to really slow down so we took a little break and some groups passed us. After a while we started to sweat so we had a snack and some more groups passed us. We could see birds, insects and other things while we marched up the colossal Rangitoto.
At last we were at the summit of Rangitoto, but we couldn't stay for long!! There were hundreds of wasps, so we went down a different path to the lava caves!!!
The first lava cave was a dead end but that still didn't stop me from being the person who went the furthest into the cave!!! There were giant rocks and small stones. In the second cave it was not a dead end. My torch kept on failing but it was quite short so "few" I said. I loved it
The walk down was so so easy but I still got sweaty! I saw more giant rocks and lovely trees and creepy rocks and crazy trees until we got back to the wharf.
On the ferry that went back I got seasick again so I went inside again. I saw people trying to sleep and other weird stuff. The best part was seeing my friend having a good time. It was two o'clock when we got back to school. I was relieved but happy!!
Yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Ball Catchers
The Three boys
Tony, Jacob and I had Tony's ball and it was awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The game needs three players. One is the thrower and the others are catchers. The thrower throws the ball and the catchers need to try to catch the ball on the foul or one hand one bounce. I started as thrower. I threw the ball and on the first go Tony caught me out (Tony is the best catcher). Tony threw the ball about five times and then Jacob caught the ball one hand one bounce and he was the thrower now!!!!
We did it over and over and over and over... but then the one o'clock bell went, we took a little break and then kept on going. I tell you, you will never get over it, it is such a fun game! The most amazing catch was when Jacob was throwing and Tony tried to catch it on the foul but it bounced on his head, he caught it one handed on the foul (Tony is really the best catcher) !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The game ends when the end of lunch bell rings. (It is always aaawwweeesssooommmeee) !!!!!!

I am especially excited about youth town because my dad said he had been there before and he said that it was really fun.
3. What are you not so excited about in EOTC week? Explain.
I'm not sure about going to Rangitoto because of the caves we're going in. I'm scared of the dark.
4. Is there any activity that has you feeling a bit anxious/worried? Explain why.
I'm not worried about anything on EOTC apart from Rangitoto.
5. In Room 32 we are working on managing ourselves - that means being responsible and making good decisions. Tell us how you could make good decisions and be responsible during EOTC week.
I will always listen, always try to do what is possible and I will always try to stay happy!

I am not going to get to silly, only do what is necessary. I will try not to let down the team by not listening.
6. Make 3 goals for EOTC week. They could be simple goals like I will listen to my team leader or they could be something like I will take care of my belongings.

Jax's Maths Goal
Hi, I have some hard maths goals.
They are
1. Grouping within 1000
2. Converting fractions to decimals
3. Memorising factors.
An example of grouping within 1000 is 367 + ? = 1000. That equals 633.
An example of converting fractions to decimals is 1/3 = ?%. That equals 33.33333333333333 recurring.
And finally, factors. The factors of 36 are 1,2,3,4,6,9 and 12.
